Smells like BURNT

live update:

my house is not only cold now..but smells like burnt fabric.. Mom put the front burner on the stove on to make some custard.. however she put her oven mitts on it an walked away!! what she was thinking I am not sure.. but up in smoke and flames they went..!! She claims she put the burner on an walked away waiting for it to get hot.. but then I what about the oven mitts on the burner mom ?? what about the oven mitts??...
