I walked out on my job today..
Yes it's true..
I packed my bag and just left the building..
how adult of me.

I then proceeded to starbucks for a Venti Latte.... you know the rest.

Tomorrow I am going to work out with my sister.. and its going to feel great!

then it's back to the drawing board for some regrouping my life together

Thank You!.. Thank You very much!

Very Professional... I hope that screwing over the company and a good friend who put his ass on the line to get you the job was worth it.

Well you obviously work there anonymous.. and I know parts were not professional on BOTH SIDES.. but I had my reasons. As far as my friend.. he wasn't even directly involved with what was going on.

Also nery I deleted your post.. due to the fact that I had enough respect to not post the politics of the company/situation and our personal relationship on my blog. Since there are two sides to every story and I didn't think that was right to post that info.

Me saying that was "very adult of me" was sarcasm .. as in yes I know things could have been handled differently.

After our talks yesterday and previously before that I totally support you and think this was the best choice. Given the work place atmosphere and how shit it has made you feel not to mention your health this is the best thing for you. It's just too bad you wasted time there to begin with. I think their professionalism speaks for itself when your ex co-workers will come and harass you on your blog.

PS Tonight is going to be awesome!

You all need to grow up. Carrie im sorry but what you did regardless of your feelings towards the work environment doesn't excuse you quit.

Ask the most successful people in the world. you don't walk off a job. EVER. You give your two weeks and then leave.

You just screwed your career and burned big bridges. If you think you'll go on in this industry with your attitude and work ethic, good luck.

You need to look at yourself now and re-evaulate your own actions. This is no McDonalds job, this is the real world. Maybe you being stuck at best buy for all those years has blinded you to how private industry works but you never do what you did. EVER

Im extremely disappointed in you and Im dealing with the fallout because of this you have impacted me in ways you have yet to comprehend.

One company doesn't constitute my career.. so no I am not screwed.

Walking off the job was wrong and leaving you in that position, I know this. I am sorry.

I have nothing further to say about this matter.

Sometimes one has to take a great leap a faith in order to find their calling regardless of the newer challanges it brings. If you felt a walkout was the best choice then you did what you needed to do for yourself. No matter what you do in life there is always a balance. Someone will get hurt while someone else will gain happiness, that's life. It may not of been the best of choices but too many of us live to work rather than work to live.
Hopefully you will find where you want to be now, good luck, stay strong.

Wow you go threw job like I do underware!!!

I suggest carrer counciling. It's obvious you can work in a corperate enviroment, or other people. You need to be on your own with no one to report to. The only down fall with that is you have to be your own boss and run your own business. Can you handle that responsibility?

if you knew me.. you would know that I worked at an office for 6 years.. in a corporate environment.. and an office before that one for a few years..

Cheers!!

A good friend once told me to be successful in life is to find something you like to do and make every effort to do it well.

It was obvious you didn't like what you were doing so you on a path of utter disappointment. Not good...

Chin up keep up the good fight and don't give up. You’re a tough cookie and you will persevere. I admire that you took a stand and made a choice it takes character. There are a lot of sheep out there you're not one of them. I admire that in you and you continue to be an inspiration.

congrats on seeing yourself in a bad situation and having the courage to get out of it. Many people wouldn't do that.

But the way in which you handled yourself was extremly childish, irresponsible and unprofessional. Clearly it's brough a lot of drama to your life. And beyond that, it appears that you have disappointed and hurt someone who was once a good friend to you. I hope walking off the job was worth risking your friendship.

At this point, there's nothing you can do about the job and the company. What's done is done. Chalk it up to experience and learn from it. Hopefully, in the future you will think twice before acting on your impulses. However, I would hope that you would make an effort to reach out to your friend. No job is worth losing a good friend.

Look at these cowards. It's unbelievable that they still don't realize why you walked out and that they reckon themselves so much more mature than you to the point where online harrassment is deemed an acceptable form of behaviour. Sad sad little people your former co-workers are, Carrie.

You might wanna wake up and realise that there are people out there other then the people you use to work with who think was you did was stupid, childish and extremly unprofessional. I can guarantee you that at least one of the anonymous comments was not made by the people you use to work with. And from what I've been told... none of the others were either.

So you can make things look however you want... but the truth of the matter is that these "harrassing comment", as they have been called, were made by random people who think that what you did was as immature as all your old co-workeers do.

obviously these comments are from old co-workers because who else would feel so strongly about this...they're the same co-workers that dont want to admit that THEY are childish for harrassing comments over the net!

blah blah blah.. don't you people have anything better to do then hang out on my blog.

Also I don't get that many hits from random strangers or comments.. so its kinda odd that all of a sudden I got people who got something to say about my choices and my life.
